The incompatibility of the two breasts; differentiating from each other in terms of size and shape, together with the asymmetry it will bring with it, may start to spoil the eye pleasure and cause problems in bra and bikini use. There may be a slight difference between the two breasts of almost every woman, but the main problem is experienced in cases where the difference between them cannot be camouflaged in daily life. Before the operation to be performed on these breasts, the volume difference between the two breasts should be determined.

If both are small, a smaller or larger silicone (breast implant / breast prosthesis) is placed in one of them, taking this difference into consideration during breast augmentation surgery. If both are large, more tissue is removed during the reduction surgery as much as this difference. Sometimes things are not so simple and it becomes difficult to decide between two beautiful breasts.

If they are both beautiful but asymmetrical, then it may be a better choice to take the larger one and enlarge the smaller one. This is because augmentation is less invasive, easier to perform and reversible. It is also less likely to damage breast function.

It is possible to restore an enlarged breast, but the same cannot easily be said for a reduced breast. The difference between the diameters of the dark skin around the nipple (areola) can also be eliminated with an incision hidden at the junction of this dark skin with the normal skin. The difference between the angles of the nipples can be corrected with the hidden incision.

For these operations, the developmental age must be completed because it is possible to experience temporary asymmetries until the age of 18.
