Labioplasty

In the procedure called LABIOPLASTY in medicine, the aesthetics of the inner and outer lips, which are the visible part of the female genital area when viewed from the outside, are in question. When this area is large and saggy, it creates an aesthetically bad appearance and creates an environment for other fungal infections. It can also cause discomfort and pain by stretching and interfering during sexual intercourse. The procedure to be performed here is the reduction and shaping process to ensure the balance between the inner and outer labium. This operation can be performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. After a procedure lasting between 30-45 minutes, bathing can be done within 2 days. In this process, the patient can urinate easily. There is no damage to the hymen in this operation.

Self-dissolving sutures are usually used and healing is completed within 1-2 weeks. Sometimes there is excessive thinness in these lips and fat injection (using fat taken from your own body) can be performed for this.

Vaginal tightening is an operation related to the inside of the vagina from the outer entrance. It is performed to narrow this area because the tissues are structurally or due to various reasons such as childbirth, excessively flexible and wide. Here again, dissolving sutures are used.

Aesthetics of these two areas are usually performed together. If there are complaints about the uterus (uterus) such as herniation and urinary incontinence, the operation is performed by a Plastic Surgeon and a Gynecologist working together.
