Liposuction

A PROCEDURE THAT SHOULD BE DONE LIKE A NEEDLE THREAD: Liposuction

Liposuction is a shaping surgery, not a slimming surgery. The aim is to make the parts of the body that are deformed due to excess fat more shapely. In this surgery, excess fat is removed by vacuum with cannulas thinner than a pencil.

Liposuction is performed to remove excess fat that does not go away even when we lose weight due to structural reasons and to shape the desired area, and there is no drawback when performed by specialist doctors for this purpose.

However, it is inconvenient to remove much more fat than necessary in order to weaken the patient. Excessive fat extraction primarily carries a great risk for the patient's health. In addition, some deformities and deformities may occur in the results of the surgery. The skin has a certain capacity to shrink, and when this capacity is exceeded, sagging and hollowness in the skin may become inevitable.

Liposuction can be applied to everyone who is healthy and to people with systemic health problems, provided that certain controls are carried out. There are even studies showing that reducing fat in the belly and abdominal area called central obesity is effective in reducing the risk of heart diseases.

Nowadays, many liposuction operations are performed with laser, ultrasonic and vibratory methods. However, the safest, healthiest and most effective method is the one performed with an injector, i.e. without a machine. With this method, the surgeon has the opportunity to instantly see and control the amount of fat taken from each area and its quality, and therefore to take equal fat from each area. Of course, this method is more tiring for the surgeon than other methods.

Preferring the "Wet Method" during liposuction also prevents negative results. In the wet method, as much liquid as the fat to be absorbed is injected into the body. This liquid also contains substances that liquefy the fat and prevent bleeding. The patient is also given fluid intravenously, thus reducing the risk of clot formation.

The technique used in liposuction is very important; first of all, it is important that the operation is performed under appropriate conditions and that the patient is given fluids intravenously during and after the operation. In addition, the use of the wet technique mentioned above reduces complications and makes the result more successful. Here, I compare vacuuming with an injector instead of an aspirator machine to the difference between machine work and needlepoint.

This surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia. Depending on the amount of fat to be removed and the patient's conditions, you can leave the hospital after 1-2 hours or stay in the hospital overnight.

The operated person should first drink plenty of fluids and use the corset recommended by the doctor regularly.

If the liposuction is done correctly, the form will not deteriorate even if the patient gains weight. In other words, he will gain weight equally from everywhere. For example, when fat is removed from the hips, when weight is gained in the future, the old protrusion in the patient's hips will not form again. This does not mean that the patient will not gain weight.

Using injectors instead of machines in liposuction operations solves many problems.

The pitting and fluctuations that occur in the skin of patients who have undergone liposuction operation over time are among the first complaints about the operation. The reason for these is the use of a vacuum machine called aspirator during the procedure. The skin has a certain shrinkage capacity and unwanted results can be obtained after uncontrolled procedures with vacuum.

However, it is possible to prevent fluctuations, pitting and irregularities with just one injector. In operations performed with the use of an injector, fat can be extracted in a more controlled manner. Although it is a very tiring procedure for the physician, the body, which can be processed like a needlework, allows the patient to achieve what he wants after the operation. Considering that liposuction should be a shaping operation, not a slimming operation, the accuracy of the use of injectors is also proven.
